On social media, a user, @Basaraski, shared a video on the X platform showing the incident that led to a disgraced Eagles fan being banned from the stadium.
During the Eagles’ 22-10 win over the Packers, Caldwell was filmed heckling a woman in the stands. The woman’s fiancé, Alexander Basara, recorded the incident.
She wrote on X: “What it’s like going to Philly just trying to root for your team,”
“Unprovoked, uncalled for. Packers twitter, help me out and find this guy…. this is not okay. I hate that my fiancé had this happen simply cheering for her team.”
Basara’s video clearly captures the man leaning over to taunt Basara’s fiancée about a Packers play, using derogatory language as the game progressed.
Despite the ongoing insults, Basara tries to intervene, asking the man to stop calling his fiancée offensive names. The Eagles fan continues his tirade, calling her, “She’s an ugly, dumb c—.”
The following day, NFL reporter Derrick Gunn took to X to announce that the Eagles would be banning the man from Lincoln Financial Field. “The guy will be banned from future Eagles games,” Gunn posted on X.
“The eagles will be sending the woman packers gear as an apology .. Eagles once again showing what a class organization they are.’ He added.
Caldwell’s employer, BCT Partners, a DEI-focused management consulting firm, launched an internal investigation.
The company condemned Caldwell’s behavior, calling it “completely unacceptable” and contrary to their core values of inclusivity.
