Crockpot Bread Recipe

Ingredients Recap:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups warm water (110°F–115°F)
2 tablespoons olive oil
Optional toppings: herbs, garlic, shredded cheese, or seeds
Instructions:
Prepare the Dough:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, and salt.
Gradually add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients, stirring with a wooden spoon or spatula until a sticky dough forms.
Knead the Dough:
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5–7 minutes, until smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour.
Let the Dough Rise:
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl and cover it with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap.
Let it rise in a warm place for about 1–2 hours, or until it doubles in size.
Prepare the Crockpot:

Line the crockpot with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
Place the risen dough in the crockpot and reshape it slightly if needed.
Cook the Bread:
Set the crockpot to High and cover it with the lid. Cook for 2–2.5 hours, or until the internal temperature of the bread reaches 190°F–200°F.
To check doneness, tap the bottom of the bread; it should sound hollow.
Optional Browning:
If you prefer a golden crust, transfer the cooked bread to an oven preheated to 450°F (230°C) and bake for 5–10 minutes, until the top is browned.
Cool and Serve:
Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing. Add your favorite toppings like herbs, garlic, or cheese before baking, if desired.
This Crockpot Bread is soft, simple, and requires minimal effort. Perfect for a cozy homemade bread experience without an oven. Enjoy! 🥖😊
