Before the rapper emerges from inside the Sydney building, the video opens with a laptop and a glass of wine on a chic terrace.

Drake, who appears startled by the drone, reaches inside and tries to hurl a bright orange slider toward the camera before it takes off.

See what we mean by watching the candid and strange video below:

The video raises a number of issues, primarily the security risks of someone supposedly deploying a drone to spy on celebrities. Drake’s attempt to toss the shoe at the drone, which is far to the left of the camera, is also a pitiful one.

What is going on in the video, then? Is there something else going on, or has Drake simply been the victim of a significant invasion of privacy?

You’re not alone if you thought that a top-notch drone flying into Drake’s flat seemed a little bit absurd; it appears that the video is most likely a part of a gambling website’s viral marketing effort.

Fans took note of the opening seconds of the clip, when the laptop screen displays the website for Stake, an Australian-Curaçaoan online casino.

In 2022, Forbes revealed that Drake and the website have a continuing partnership.

“Drake, who is partnered with stake is seen gambling on stake with the laptop conveniently facing the drone,” a user remarked on X, adding: “This is an ad, come on people.”

“‘Drake’s High-Stakes Surprise: Drone Catches Rapper’s Unaware Gambling Session on Stake!’ Man will sure do anything to double his cash,” a second person wrote.

Astute viewers also noticed that another man’s reflection was seen in the glass windows, which further suggested the entire movie was a ruse.

“You know how you know Drake never looks in the Mirror? He doesn’t know how reflections work,” penned one unimpressed viewer.

“This ain’t even a troll, you can actually see the drone operator in the video.”

“Drake deserves an Oscar for overacting,” a second wrote, while a third added: “I’m extremely concerned with the apparent tens of thousands of people who can’t tell that the drake drone video is some kind of stunt. he’s not even acting that well in it.”
