What to Know about Diddy’s 7 Kids, Four of Whom Discredited Rumors About Their Mom, & One White “Adopted” Daughter Ava

Most people know Sean “Diddy” Combs as a businessman and music mogul, but not everyone knows he is a parent to seven children with four different women. Two of the star’s children are twins. Here’s what we know about each child, starting with his oldest.

Quincy Taylor Brown

Sean’s eldest child is a son named Quincy Taylor Brown. He was born on June 4, 1991, making him 33 in 2024. The star’s New York City-born son was welcomed by Sean’s former girlfriend, Kim Porter, and her ex-husband, Al B. Sure.

Speaking about his now-late mother, who was a model, Quincy said, “I’m my mom’s son, so therefore there’s so much life for me to expand on off of her life.” He added, “And that journey hasn’t even started yet, which is the best part about it.”

Kim’s son concluded, “What my mom’s legacy is representative of is beyond words. That’s gonna really come to life soon.” When talking about Sean, he mentioned him being a hard worker, with Quincy revealing, “I think I’ve been a sponge, and now I do so much.”

The musician met Quincy’s mother and started dating her when her son was just a child. Quincy has since followed in his biological father and Sean’s entertainment industry footsteps, stating, “One of my passions, I’m very much into the art of acting, and then there’s music.”

He also shared what he learned from Sean, saying, “But just seeing how he’s able to handle and juggle all these things, I took that from him as my most major takeaway.” The star’s adopted son grew up splitting his time between his family in Georgia and New York.

He and his siblings joined Sean on tour as children, with Quincy thinking the hip-hop star felt it was safer to have them with him and needed his family around. Sean’s son believed having your children as your “road dogs” was a win for all involved.

He added, “It made everything go better.” Quincy’s interest in music led to him featuring his twin sisters, D’Lila Star and Jessie James, in the video of his single, “Face Off.”

He works as their manager despite not having a formal contract.

Kim’s eldest child described himself as the twins’ uncle, father, manager, and protector. He explained, “I want to be able to really guide them. I want them to really know the layers of everything you can do.”

Quincy said his sisters have shared their passions and where they see themselves, and he was bringing them along on his ride before they branch off on their own path.

Sean’s second child and his first biological one is also a boy.

Justin Combs

Justin Combs was born on December 30, 1993, in New York to Sean and Misa Hylton. The now 30-year-old was also the stylist and fashion designer’s first child.

In 2019, Justin paid tribute to his mother on her birthday by sharing a picture of her holding him when he was a little boy.

He captioned the Instagram post, “Happy birthday to my twin, my best friend, my mother @misahylton.”

Sean’s son said he loved and appreciated Misa more than she’d ever know and thanked her for raising him into the man he is, adding, “I love you so much!!”

Showing his growth, in 2016, he uploaded a photo of himself celebrating being the “First Combs male to graduate from College.. All praise to God & my parents! [sic]” He was sandwiched between some family members, including his mother and father.

Sean’s third child and second biological offspring was another son.

Christian Combs

Kim and Sean welcomed their first biological child, Christian Combs, on April 1, 1998, soon after they started dating.

In 2023, Christian showed how he still honored his late mother when he celebrated her birthday by sharing an Instagram photo of himself hugging her as a young boy.

The now 26-year-old wished her a “HAPPY HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!!! 🎈 ❤️👼.” In his touching caption, he noted, “I wish I could be with you right now and hug you and give you love !!! I love you and miss you so much❤️🙏🏾!!! #foreverkp.”

In an interview, Christian revealed that he always wished to follow in his father’s footsteps by becoming a rapper. He admitted, “It’s really always been something I wanted to do.”

When his father asked if he was sure he wanted to pursue that career path and what his fallback plan was, Christian replied, “There is no plan B.”

Sadly, like his father, the younger rapper is accused of abusing a woman in December 2022 while she was working on a yacht Sean chartered.

The older rapper was named a defendant in his son’s lawsuit, and both he and Christian claim the allegations are false.

Sean welcomed his first daughter with a third woman a few years later.

Chance Combs

Sarah Chapman, a businesswoman, and Sean were friends for years but never openly dated before they welcomed Chance Combs on July 20, 2006.

In July 2024, Christian showed how supportive he was of his family.

He uploaded several Instagram photos of him celebrating his half-sister’s graduation.

The now 18-year-old was seen holding flowers while posing beside her brother in full high school graduation regalia.

The pair were also photographed hugging at the event.

Christian celebrated his sister’s achievement, writing, “Congratulations @myfancychance !!! Can’t believe you Graduating [sic] !! I love you & I Got you forever!! 💙 👩‍🎓.”

After the birth of his first daughter, Sean welcomed two more.

D’Lila and Jessie Combs

After Chance’s birth, five months later, on December 21, 2006, Kim welcomed identical twin daughters, D’Lila and Jessie Combs, with Sean.

In 2021, Sean did a photo shoot with his three daughters for “Vanity Fair.”

He proudly noted how the trio had done a great job and expressed pride in them.

Sean praised them, adding, “You all look simply regal, majestic, beautiful & strong. Words can’t even explain!” He further described himself as “One of the luckiest men in the world!!”

In 2023, the 17-year-old twins and Chance were interviewed by a magazine where they revealed they had different upbringings from ordinary children who hung out at the mall or played Little League.

Instead, the trio spent their afternoons in recording studios, on music video sets, and red carpets.

With their father being a music mogul, his daughters learned that dedication could build an empire.

Talking about their bond, D’Lila said, “We always have a support system in each other.”

She revealed they support one another no matter their goals or future dreams and have an incredible bond.

In recent years, Sean welcomed another baby girl.

Love Sean Combs

On December 10, 2022, Sean took to X to reveal that he’d welcomed another child. He wrote, “I’m so blessed to welcome my baby girl Love Sean Combs to the world.”

The star added, “Mama Combs, Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, D’Lila, Jessie, and myself all love you so much! God is the Greatest!”

For 2023’s Father’s Day, Love appeared in a TikTok clip alongside her older sisters as they wished their father, who stood behind them, a happy day. He captioned the post wishing himself a Happy Father’s Day.

Later that year, Love was featured again in another TikTok post by her father. This time, her twin sisters danced behind her as she moved her body while standing in front.

The clip cut off when little Love hilariously grabbed the phone that was recording. Sean encouraged his baby girl, writing, “Go LOVE!!! 🖤🙏🏿✨.”

In May 2024, the rapper appeared in an adorable Facebook post where he was seen holding Love in his arms while she was wrapped in a towel. He captioned it, “My Love.”

The last child is a bonus one that was allegedly adopted by Sean.

Ava Baroni Combs

A 2020 clip of Sean recording himself and a girl named Ava Baroni Combs resurfaced in September 2024 amid the rapper’s abuse allegations.

The celebrity is seen next to the White girl, who reveals that she’s Ava and a Scorpio.

The rapper then asks her to reveal her last name, and that’s when she says his name.

He claimed it was “breaking news” that he “adopted a White child.” Even though Ava still has her biological parents, the father of seven said she was his child too.

Ava explained how she met the music mogul saying she was on the streets when “Papa Combs decided that he’d like to be a caring man.”

When he saw her, he picked her up and invited her inside to play with his children, and that’s where the clip cut.

Ava reportedly has known D’Lila and Jessie since they were little girls due to Kim knowing her parents.

Sources claim Sean never legally adopted Ava or played a parental role in her life.

He’s also not been in her life recently as her family has kept their distance from the troubled rapper.

Despite not having Ava’s support Sean’s children have shown up for him amid his legal woes.

In late September, Justin, Quincy, and Christian appeared in court to support their father. That same month, Kim’s children released a social media statement defending their late mother and her relationship with their father.

They revealed she never wrote a tell-all book exposing the rapper and warned against so-called “friends” speaking to the press on their behalf. The twins and their two brothers asked fans not to make a spectacle of Kim’s legacy and to allow her to rest in peace.
